During his productive career, spanning over more than forty years, Mario Ceroli has played and experimented with a variety of mediums and techniques, his works constantly changing and evolving, but always showcasing his artistry and experience. His detailed, textured works capture nature and usually colorless, bodies in movement, celebrating them or making them central pieces of a more complex installation. In his hands, wood, glass or granite are mold, cut and shaped with finesse and attention to detail into shapeless, contoured silhouettes, surprising scenarios and majestic settings.
Mr. Ceroli studied sculpture at the Academy of Fine Arts in Rome with renowned artists and professors Pericle Fazzini and Leoncillo Leonardi. He is one of the most celebrated Italian artists and his sculptures and designs have been feature in numerous theater and movie productions, galleries, museums and public collection.
