Jose Marin discovered his passion for jewelry during his childhood years, while playing in his father’s workshop. Since then he has exhibited his collection in Europe and he was a finalist for the 2013 Annual Craftsmanship Awards in his native Spain, for his techniques with precious metals. He was inspired by and chose to work with titanium, a malleable metal that can change its color when heat or electricity is applied. Highlighted by gold and precious stones, the colors and detail in his titanium rings are incredible: from the vibrant accents of red and orange to the dark blue and aquamarine. Inspired by large volumes and botanical motifs, Mr. Marin ’s rings are bold and unconventional, yet feminine.
